These Subscription Terms explain how paid Plead subscriptions work. They form part of our Terms & Conditions.
1. Plans
- Weekly, monthly and annual plans are offered. The price of each plan is the localised price shown by Apple in the App Store at the time you subscribe, and each renews automatically unless cancelled in accordance with Apple’s subscription controls.
- Eligible users receive a 3-day free trial before the first annual charge. The monthly and weekly plans have no free trial.
- Promotional annual pricing may be offered to some users from time to time. Any promotional price, its duration and the standard price it renews at are shown by Apple before you confirm the purchase.
- Plead is a paid app: an active subscription is needed to use it.
- Only one linked partner needs an active subscription for both linked accounts to get access to Plead while the couple remains linked, subject to the product entitlement rules.
2. Free trial
The 3-day trial applies only to the annual plan and only where Apple determines the customer is eligible. If the trial is not cancelled before it ends, Apple will charge the annual subscription price shown at purchase. Eligibility and billing are controlled by the App Store.
3. Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple’s subscription settings within the period required by Apple. Deleting the Plead app or account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription. To cancel or change a plan, use Apple’s Manage Subscriptions (opens in a new tab) page, or on iPhone go to Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
4. Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests should generally be made through Apple, subject to applicable law and Apple’s processes.
5. Linked-partner entitlement
Access to Plead follows the current couple entitlement rules: the couple's subscription covers both linked partners. If partners unlink, the paying user retains the benefit associated with their qualifying active purchase; the non-paying former partner may lose access to Plead unless separately entitled. The same applies if the paying partner deletes their account.
6. Restoring purchases
If you reinstall Plead or change device, open Plead and use Settings → Restore purchases while signed in with the Apple ID that made the purchase.
7. Price changes
Apple may display localised pricing and taxes. If prices change, we will handle notices and any required consent in accordance with App Store requirements and applicable law.
